These are the options you can choose from but right now I am reviewing The Magnum Big Shot Volum’ Express. 

There are a lot of products and services available in the market specifically made for our eyes (eye area including brows). It can be fake lashes, eyeshadows, eyeliners, microblading service, eyelash perm and more. With that being said, what was it in our eyes that we are so obsessed about that we are raging to every single product available?

Well I think I said enough and we all agree that emphasizing the eyes makes it all the difference on completing our overall look.

So shall we start with Mascara then?

Application

Upon applying The Magnum Big Shot Volum’ Express Water Proof Mascara, first thing I notice is that my eyelash strands lengthen. I love how the mini fibers easily go to the tip of my eyelash and fix itself in there. However, the downside is the tip of my lashes joins together that makes it looks fewer. So in this way of applying the mascara we cannot achieve volume. Please take note that I apply the mascara as close to the roots and slide up till the tip.

How can we achieve it?

This is one technique I accidentally discovered. To achieve volume apply the product as close to the roots as possible. Double coat if you must. Stop right there, do not be tempted to swipe the wand upwards till the tip. . In this way the tip of your lashes will stay as it is (which is natural and perfect for daytime). While the base and middle part will darken and make the illusion of a thicker and fuller look. Try to use the most out of the wand and individually coat the base strands. Try your best to avoid sticking two strands together so we can achieve fuller more volumize look.

Waterproof?

Even if I didn’t test it out underwater I know for sure that this will endure sweat and rain. The reason is because the product is so rich it is hard to remove.

Wand

Each mascaras’ has a unique wand. The Magnum Big Shot Volum’ Express apparently has a big wand and bristles like grass- it has one root but leaf blades (bristles)are like 3.

Maybelline has always been a wallet saver. The Magnum Big Shot Volum’ Express Water Proof Mascara is retailed for P349.00 ($ 7.00)

Will I Recommend It:

Yes. Magnum Big Shot Volum’ Express Water Proof Mascara is a good purchase. I haven’t tried other brands yet that will enable me to give comparison with. Hopefully in the future I can able to compare and recommend a good one.

+ Natural Makeup Remover

As I mentioned earlier, this product is rich that makes it hard to remove. Normal soap will not wash it off, what I use is Virgin Coconut oil [ABS Herbs Virgin Coconut Oil] to remove the mascara and the rest of my makeup. I mentioned it before on my Skincare Routine and I absolutely love it. Not only it removes my makeup virgin coconut oil has antibacterial properties and is a natural moisturizer. I leave it for like 5 -10 minutes and wash it off with water and toner.

Who would have thought you can use coconut oil for removing makeup.
