Tipid Tips this Lockdown || Freeze and Portion your Meat

tipid tips this lockdown,

Homemaking can be fun and challenging.

Because of different kinds of reasons,

but what I wanted to talk about now is how you can make homemaking fun.

Ps. these are all shared via social media, so these strategy is tried, tested and homemakers are loving it.

First thing is, we should all agree that every family needs a descent freezer or a refrigerator with large freezer space.

For two reasons.

1.       Making portions of your meat and fish for the entire week can save you a whole lot of trips to the market.

A kilo of galunggong (fish) can be portioned into 4 Tupperware or plastic, so just pull out 1 pack per lunch or dinner.

Freeze up bunch of processed foods like lumpia or shomai.

Ground meet are excellent addition to stir fried veggies like pechay and sayote. You don’t need a lot of ground meet just portion, a fist size is enough to add on different type of stir fry recipe and that’s it, a yummy and healthy meal.

2.     Freezer space can be used for selling ice and ice candy.

It will never hurt to sell things out of your freezer space. With our year long summer, ice is a necessity so don’t miss out on that opportunity.

Final Thoughts

I love frequent trips to the supermarket, its relaxing and therapeutic.

But this quarantine period, you can’t do that very often.

Budget wise, frequent trips to the market can add a bit more money.

So why not start to be smart with your every trip to the super market, for sure it can go a long way.
