Have you ever thought of saving money and put it in a bank.
Collect passbook and label them each to know what are they for?
We Filipino's value saving money so much.
So in choosing the right bank to save money with, ease on applying for an account, accessibility and good amount of interest rate are some of the factors we might consider.
Higher Interest Rate Than BDO
Let us start with a bank that offers higher interest rate than BDO and that is the mobile banking app launched by RCBC Diskartech App.
Why bother comparing Diskartech to BDO?
I don't know, I just think that BDO is so popular and more accessible physically than any other banks.
But this time around with Covid 19, going to the bank or going outside in general is something we limit or avoid.
So this mobile banking Diskartech is really handy when it comes to those reasons.
1. Requirements- Just present a Valid ID scan it and take a selfie
2. Interest Rate Higher than BDO- 3.25%
How much does BDO offers?
Yes, I want to know that too.
BDO offers .25% interest per year.
That is kind of sad.
So with interest rate I think nothing beats RCBC Diskartech.
Diskartech Goals
Another cool thing I discover about diskartech is that you can put in Diskartech Goals and track them.
Gone with the days of opening several passbook account and writing down for whom or what that money is that for.
Diskartech goals is like goals on my cp, like a phone vision board.
Click in the trophy icon and write down your goal.
I put in a 40,000 worth of freezer (that's a bit pricey for a freezer because that time I wasn't really thinking about a freezer but a 3 door refrigerator from samsung or lg, I really like that fridge and it won't go out of my head, realistically a 15,000 pesos worth of freezer for a business is totally fine with me).
I get to chose which month I will start saving money, I choose September.
And also how long you want to save and reach that amount. I put in two years.
Notice that they calculated the amount you want to
Let us do a little math here.
Since Diskartech has higher interest rate than BDO that would mean;
1st Year Diskartech Goal
20,000 X 3.25%= 650.00
1st Year BDO
20,000 X.25% =50.00
That's a 500 pesos difference.
Final Thoughts
I think 3.25% interest per year is pretty amazing. Additional 650 pesos with your 20,000 savings in a year, I will take that please.
Ultimately, do not forget our greatest provision of all. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Money goals are good but let us not put it ahead of our true focus in life.
That is it for now.

how can i load money to diskartech using online transaction from my bdo account?
ReplyDeleteHi nonongv,
DeleteThanks for reading😊.
I try to transfer money thru online banking and it went tru.
Transfer to RCBC/diskartech , and things should go smoothly.
I did try transferring money from eastwest to Diskartech and its successful.
Hope your BDO transfer will be as smooth as it did with eastwest bank
Have a great day❗️
bdo will not transfer since it will ask for a 16 digit account no., so i only give a 15 digit account generated from diskartech.
ReplyDeletebdo says invalid account no.
😢...
ReplyDelete❗️Update on banktransfer from eastwest bank and rcbcdiskartech
ReplyDeleteI notice that eastwest returned my money.
So my money transfer wasnt successful afterall.
Maybe visiting the rcbc bank will help.
or from paymaya to diskartech
or gcash to diskartech.
need lang siguro ng time para mag-refect back ang pera.
