For the second feature of Upcareer Highlights this month of July, is one of my long time hero when it comes to personal finance.
She is an inspiration and you will see that I
note Savings Pinay on a lot of my post whenever I try to look back and compare my
money managing skills.
So grateful to finally feature Miss Izza on
Upcareer Highlights and see her own view on what success means.
Let’s start.
What is
your name and what do you do?
1. I’m Izza Glino of SavingsPinay.ph. I am
a Digital Marketing Associate.

What is
your motivation to start this career?
2. I started SavingsPinay.ph to help bridge
the financial literacy gap among Filipinos. Reading blogs helped me manage my
finances for the better and it is my hope that readers of SavingsPinay are
also motivated towards their financial independence journey one content at a
time.

What do
you consider the greatest challenge in doing your career and how you deal with
it?
3. The most challenging part is definitely
time management. Making sure that there is a new content out there. Aside from
SavingsPinay.ph I also have a personal blog www.izzaglinofull.com plus my day job and other side hustles. I
really had ensure my priorities. It helped that I am a lover of productivity
hacks, myself. I enjoy time blocking, using Pomodoro technique (25mins of
deep work) and other tools that will help me stay consistent. I also learn a
lot from others. I don’t stop learning.

4. There is one big success lesson I want to impart,
It is surrendering everything to GOD.
All of your ambitions, your gifts and your strengths,
Your inhibitions, your doubts and your fears.
The money that you have and what you have yet to receive.
EVERYTHING.
Including Him more in my life became an ultimate game changer for me.
I cannot stress enough the happiness I found the day I surrendered everything
to God.
There is nothing much more important for me right now than the
relationship I have with God who strengthens me.
It definitely changed the way I see success, progress and life in
general. May God use me and this humble blog for His glory.
