As of writing this article my account in Col Financial is already funded. What is left to do is to pick my first stock?
I don’t have any idea if the stock I pick will be a good pick or not, but nevertheless I will share with you all the resources I exhausted in able to have a little glimpse of how to pick the right stock (in my own perspective applying all the knowledge I acquired from these free platforms).
By the way, I will be playing super safe by investing on blue chips upon picking my first stock, I just need to determine their buy below prices.
Lesson number 1 I learned about the stock market:
Buy Below: Sell High
Moving along to the list of resources I exhausted for free on learning the stock market is below.
Savings Pinay- I can never link Savings Pinay blog more than enough for you to know how I look up to her so much.
The level of maturity she has when it comes to reaching financial freedom as early around 20ish is really inspiring for me, other than that I can totally relate to her a lot, being single, having a usual job which earns a normal amount of salary as everyone does and sharing the same passion such as writing.
I believe her net worth is more than my net worth considering my age which is 30.
That is why I knew that it is really possible for every one of us, especially people who has a minimum salary or above minimum salary to gain Financial Freedom. We just have to explore a lot of options, stop being afraid and act now.

How Savings Pinay website is a good platform to get insights about the stock market?
The answer is because Savings Pinay is a living proof that even if you don’t have expertise in the stock market you can still able to profit from it. I am not saying to copy her style with regards to investing in the stock market but she is an absolute inspiration out there that stock market can be a good tool to earn income. Yes, it is not a get rich quick scheme but still, it is a legitimate platform to earn as long you are patient enough to learn about it and make the right decision when it comes to buying a selling a stock.
So good luck guys, especially for those of us who are earning minimum wage and above minimum wage, this is one platform we can explore on gaining another source of income.
Financial Freedom 101 – I watch videos of Financial Freedom 101 on times when I need to get an insight on how to study technical’s about the stock market. Though I do not fully understand it yet I still watch it because that is my style of learning. Running through the material over and over again until I can finally make sense out of the stuff he is talking about.
For sure in time you will need someone who will teach you technical’s and I believe Financial Freedom 101 has uploaded a lot of useful videos about the stock market already for everyone to watch. He also has a live video I believe every day where he studies the market together with all his viewers. His viewers have the chance to ask him questions and he answers all of them in the program.
I use to read Investing Engineer technical analysis but I believe it will be easier to learn thru video.
I cannot fully recommend Financial Freedom 101, but it is a good place to start. There are a lot of generous YouTubers out there who teaches stock market I just need to run through all of them. Again Financial Freedom 101 is a generous Youtuber as well in terms of sharing his knowledge about the stock market that is why I said it is a good place to start learning and then if you need more then search for other teachers that answers your queries.
Col Financial Facebook Group- I’ve been in this group for less than a month now and true enough I have gained a lot of insights already.
I really love wasting my time scrolling Facebook and look for something interesting and at the end of the day, I will feel guilty because I didn’t accomplish anything productive.
So scrolling a Group relating to the stock market for me somehow upgraded my Social Media routine into something useful. In this group real-life stock market investor post their sentiment, bashful comments, insights, hypes, ups, downs and all other things about the Philippine stock market.
There are a lot of terms here that I do not understand especially technical analysis terms. I believe technical analysis are the tools stock market trader do to determine if a stock is a good buy or not.
So I remind myself of the terms like Bollinger, support and all other things I read from this group and try to research about it. The videos of Financial Freedom 101 have videos about all those. Or try to look to some other channel who teaches stock market I am sure everything is already available now over the internet.
But please be sure to absorb everything which caution. Like any other investment platform, there is always a risk.
But you will be fine, with the right mindset. I really like the idea of hanging out in this group, silently reading all post because as they say surround yourself with successful people and you will be successful as well.
Since I don’t know anyone in real life who’s been in the stock market (other than my brother I believe he did invest I just didn’t ask him about it), this is actually my way to “virtually socialise” with the stock market investor.
One last thing, this is a closed group so please be sure to join.
I didn’t get the service of Truly Rich Club
I believe I have two posts explaining my thoughts about Truly Rich Club.
I actually love to see how will they guide my stock market journey but for the meantime let me see if I can pull off a good result in the stock market using free information over the internet.
So that is it for now.
Hope you can check out all the links I provided up.
I think next time I will have screenshots of all the important tabs in the Col Financial website to determine which stock is good to buy or not.
Thank you for reading all the way!
Hi sis, congrats on joining the PH stock market. Ang swerte mo ngayon kasi medyo naka sale pa yung ibang mga stocks. May suggestion lang on buying stocks is go for 100+ board lot para malaki ang gain mo kapag tumaas yung price. Good luck! Ako nman nag-iipon ako now for UITF and Mutual Funds. Plan ko kasi dyan iinvest yung money ko next year!
