Cost of Living as an OFW in Dubai

Disclaimer: This sample estimate cost of living came from my experience as an OFW for the year 2013-2016. I still know friends who work there presently and I will try to revalidate these expenses at present time.

Here it goes.

Housing: 650 DHS up ( bed space style with curtains), a decent room will be around 2000 DHS up.

       Internet: 50- 80 DHS

Transportation: 200-250 DHS (legit car lift offers cheap transportation to and from the mall if you want to know the price of public transportation like the Metro or Bus you can check their website directly)

Utilities (DEWA): 180-250 DHS (this is the water and electric bill)

Gas: 30 DHS (usually divided to a minimum of 6 persons, LPG)

Food: 100-150/ week DHS (this is just my opinion, I think that you can have a decent meal for this amount all are cooked and prepared at home)

Expenses for personal hygiene should also be considered J.
