Why Wax at Home || Diy Sugar Wax

You’ve probably tried ways to remove hair (whether on your pits, legs, arms, or pubic area). Here are the lists that I’ve tried, its advantages and disadvantages;

Salon Waxing (Legs/Pit/Bikini Area) Sugar Wax

Fruit Hot Wax

Fruit Hot Wax: Wax warmer, stick and disposable waxing strip is a must (if ever you try it at home)

Plucking (Armpit Only)

Shaving (Legs/Pit/Bikini Area/Facial Hair)

Threading (Upper Lip, Eyebrows)

If you are vain enough, you’ve probably spend a lot of money removing all those every month or so. However, there comes a time you wanted to save things up and just have to do it all by yourself.
I’ve took down prices from Watsons Store so you can compare somehow the difference of products available in the market.

The cheapest so far that I know of is Diy Sugar Wax Homemade Sugar Wax 100% Chemical free 8 oz or around 200 grams plastic container for Php 55.00 and no need of reheating or use of wax strip, you can order it on Facebook page :www.facebook.com/diysugar.wax.5 or check Instagram: www.instagram.com/diysugarwax01/

Just a bit of trivia Sugar Wax has been used long way back and is more popularly used by Arabic women.

In Dubai UAE, waxing salons are in every block. It is so popular, even myself is drawn to it. Another good thing about it if you want to save, cheap waxing products are available in your local supermarkets Link:https://www.facebook.com/diysugar.wax.5/posts/154697828368619?theater Though I struggle on my first attempts because of the pain and nothing beats the salon waxing when it comes to removing almost all the hair (small hair are still left behind though). But in time I get the hang of it and finally satisfied on doing it by myself.

Finally, if you have free time you can just do it by yourself. Here's how;

Ingredients
1 cup of sugar
1/8 cup of water
1/8 cup of lemon/calamansi juice (Philippine lemon)
Pinch of salt
Put everything in a pot. Boil up to 10-12 minutes. Stir continuously.

If you want to make it as hot wax, you can change the amount of liquids to 1/4 cup and 1/4 cup of citrus. Use it with waxing strip or just your old clothes. :)

Important: Do not overcook or it might turn into a candy. Hmmn, not a bad idea after all.

Hope this helps!
