How to Deal with Enemy At Work – The Godly Way

how to deal with enemy at work the godly way, how to deal with enemies in the bible,

Whether at work or at home enemies are treated the same in the Bible.

Before we go about answering how to deal with enemies at work or anywhere else, the Godly way, let us answer the question first, who are the enemies of Jesus?

Satan in our world is a picture of a grim reaper.

But in the bible satan is different.

At one point our Lord Jesus calls Peter his very own disciple as satan.

Mathew 16:22-23

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said.
“This shall never happen to you!”

Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”

Another enemy in the bible is Judas Iscariot.

How does Lord Jesus treat Judas Iscariot.

John 13:21-27

After he dad ssaid this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me.”

His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant. One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him. Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, “Ask him which one he means.”

Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, “Lord, who is it?”

Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish. “Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon. As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him.

“What you are about to do do quickly,” Jesus told him.

Another enemy are the Pharisees.

When the Pharisees say unpleasant things on the miracles that Jesus perform, Jesus responded with another teachings.

Mathew 12:24-28

But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is  only by Beelzebub, the price of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Mathew 12:34-35

You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

How Lord Jesus treats His enemies?

div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;"> Lord Jesus equally rebukes evil deeds.

  • People with Authority
  • His Own Colleague

But all of those are not to condemn, but for them to change their ways and receive the love of Christ and the ultimate gift from our Father, our salvation.

He rebuke with the intention of saving them from evil.

It is really an act of love.

So next time you feel you want to rebuke anyone who treats you wrong.

That maybe your;

Boss- (people with authority like the Pharisees)
Friend or Colleagues (like Peter or Judas)

Make sure you are rebuking them out of love.

If you want to rebuke anyone because they are unfair don’t do it.

If you want to rebuke anyone because they do the opposite of what the company’s values uphold don’t do it.

I post loads of inspiring thoughts there.

If you want to rebuke anyone because its right to teach them a lesson, don’t do it.

If you want to rebuke anyone because they hurt you with their words, don’t do it.

If finally, when your heart already learn how to rebuke the people who wronged you, for the reason being because you want to see them in heaven with you, to turn away from evil deeds and receive salvation from Jesus Christ, that is the time you can rebuke them.

They might listen or not, whatever the results maybe is up to the Lord.

Thank you for reaching this far.
