Include Virgin Coconut Oil in Skincare?!

We have a lot of skincare products out there available. Each one is different targeting different issues in our body. However, I thought there are a lot of natural/organic products out there that we haven’t fully utilized.
I think that is the case with coconut oil. Philippines is abundant with coconut and one product out of the many things you can do with it is the Virgin Coconut Oil.

Today I will tell you how I fully utilize the use of Virgin Coconut oil as part of my skincare and more.

Let’s start.

1.      Makeup Remover
I’ve been ranting about this ever since, here is the link to my previous post, not only it removes waterproof mascara it also removes my entire makeup. Before I use Nivea Cream for removing my make-up in which is effective as well but once I got Virgin Coconut Oil I’ve been using it non-stop for this purpose. It is partly giving my skin moisture as well.

2.     Massage Oil
I probably have told you that I follow one YouTuber Immy Maryam for facial toning massage + exercise in which is great for good circulation of blood on my entire face. I really like the result of facial toning massage + exercise because I feel my face has tighten not like before. Just to tell you real quick I am beginning to feel the effect of being in late 20’s, starting from wrinkles, loose cheeks and tired looking eyes. There are a lot of contributors why ageing happens fast in my case so I am trying different ways to reverse the effect or somehow lessen it.

3.     Hair Mask
I used to do this when I was young and I really like how Virgin Coconut Oil moisturize my hair so well but now not much, it’s not that it was not effective it’s just that I don’t have the time for it and I am fairly satisfied with my hair care routine at the moment. We’ve grown in this culture that Virgin Coconut Oil is great for thickening our hair follicles and fights hair fall. Actually not only the oil but the coconut cream as well. In my honest opinion, I don’t think I will use it as thickening or anti-hair fall because I already fall in love with Moringa O2 Product but I would surely love to use it as a hair mask to deepen the moisture in my hair.

 4.     Lip Moisturizer

I told you Virgin Coconut Oil can be used everywhere. While I remove my makeup I also put some on my lips as a moisturizer so the next day it will be as plump as baby lips. If you have extra time at night you can also make your own lip scrub, recipe is below;

½ Teaspoon of Brown Sugar
5 Drops of Virgin Coconut Oil

Small bits of the sugar will help removes dead skin from lips and as you know Virgin Coconut Oil is an all-time moisturizer in which you can use everywhere.

Literally.

5.     After Wax Oil
I’ve mention before that I do my own waxing at home, so FYI after waxing you cannot immediately wash the skin with water. So what I do to is I put Virgin Coconut Oil on my skin. Not only that it helps on closing the pores, it also has antibacterial properties in which can kill any type of harmful stuff. I also read online that they use it on fighting fungi so Virgin Coconut Oil is one natural product that does everything! Some people use aloe gel and back then the waxing salon I used to go uses normal baby oil.

6.     Supplement

Here in the Philippines, there has been a hype about Virgin Coconut Oil years back, I quite forget the exact year but Virgin Coconut Oil in capsules are everywhere. I’m sure you remember that as well. To be honest I can’t quite drink coconut oil (I am afraid how the taste would be) but in capsules maybe, but I haven’t tried it yet. I included this one because I might drink it someday but not that sure when is it, never say never as they say. Virgin Coconut Oil has a lot of health benefits; it’s good in fighting certain viruses, good for pregnant women, good for people with heart disease and strengthening your overall immune system so there is really no reason not to drink it as a supplement. Hopefully.

That’s it guys, hope you find this post useful. If you are a believer of natural products just like I am, this is one of the best ways to use it, incorporating it into your skincare routine. It’s cheap and benefits are beyond you can imagine.
