The Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation I am Hooked-blognigigi

Time of the year when I exhausted my foundation already and I needed to buy a new one.

The last foundation I use is Maybelline Fit Me foundation and I am totally disgusted when I finally got my hands on The Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation and compared the two apart.

The Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation

·        Scent is divine
I just realize how deprived I was with the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation because it doesn’t have a scent at all. Comparing it now with The Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation makes me think it has a horrible smell, just like how you smell an unoccupied room full of dust.

·        It Last Pretty Well
I don’t know how long will it last because I sweat a lot. I think the safe number is around 6 hours and after that, my face would shine with sweat. The Ink Lasting Foundation is still on my face and it still enhances my skin feature eliminating redness. Just a retouch of powder is enough to make me look decent.

·        Fills up the Pores
I have huge pores on my cheeks near my nose and I am happy The Ink Lasting Foundation minimize the appearance of it.

·        Matte Finish
The Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation is matte. It shows a bit of dry area on my face which is on the edge of my nose but its fine as long you apply it minimal. I personally like to 2nd coat my skin with thin layers. My eye area is dabbed with foundation only once using my ring finger because I don’t want to worsen my wrinkles around it. And I think the feel of the Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation is light even though its matte.

·        Medium Coverage
I have freckles on the edge of my cheekbones and I love to cover them. I put a thicker amount of Ink Lasting Foundation on that area to cover them as much as I can but the foundation is not full coverage I suppose. But it’s ok, for an everyday foundation I needed a light feeling coat on my skin so it’s not irritating.

Retail Price

The Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation is around 1200 pesos I think (sorry I forgot) but I got three free items to come with it and they let me have members card.

I really like the member's card perks. They give 20% discount for members birthday and this is a perfect opportunity to try their skin care products.

The free item I receive the Rice Water Bright Foaming Cleanser is great. Its non-drying and it smells beautiful. I think I will stop using Kogic Soap I buy from Watson. My whole body is dry like crazy now.

I am hooked with the Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation. Ms Martha of The Beauty Junkee even said it can be compared with Nars Foundation, only The Faceshop Ink Lasting Foundation last less than Nars.

I will definitely try to explore more of Korean Skin Care. I think I will rest for now from American Makeup and Skincare.

That is it for now.

Thanks for reading all the way!
